Moderne Fremdsprachen wollen auch in konkreten Lebenssituationen angewandt werden. Deshalb bieten wir seit über 20 Jahren Austauschprogramme mit Schulen in Frankreich und England an. Vor einigen Jahren konnten wir unser Austauschprogramm durch regelmäßige Kontakte mit Schulen auf Gran Canaria und China bereichern.

Klassenfahrten und Kursfahrten
Ein Großteil der Klassen- und Kursfahrten am Schlossgymnasium ist zentral über einen Blockungsplan von vornherein für jedes Schuljahr festgelegt, da besonders im sehr kurzen ersten Halbjahr sichergestellt werden muss, dass der Unterrichtsausfall insgesamt gering gehalten wird.

Daher versucht unsere Schule in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Eltern und außerschulischen Institutionen, die Kinder und Jugendliche so zu stärken, dass sie in Gefährdungssituationen bestehen können.
Das Schlossgymnasium bemüht sich seit längerem erfolgreich darum, Schülerinnen, Schülern, Familien und Lehrern in jedem Schuljahr eine sinnvolle Auswahl an Präventionsveranstaltungen zu verschiedenen Themen anzubieten.
